  • Waconia Nickle Dickle Day – Saturday, September 13th
    • Celebrating all things Waconia since 1961! This one-day event offers you the chance to stroll through the arts and crafts fair, the library book sale and the car and truck show. Watch the duck races and the 3 on 3 basketball tournament. Listen to live music while enjoying some delicious food. Run in a Nickle Dickle Day race! Great shopping and deals all around town...a day not to be missed!
  • Cottagewood Community Foundation Fall Lawn Sale – Saturday, September 13th
    • Stop by Saturday morning and drop off your used goods between 8:00-9:30 then stick around to shop the sale from 9:30-2:30. All proceeds go to supporting the Cottagewood Community Foundation.
  • Wayzata Fire Department Pancake Breakfast – Sunday, September 14th
    • Stop by from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on September 14 for pancakes, French toast, and enter a raffle with the Wayzata Fire Department! There is no cost for food, however, at-will donations to the Fire Relief Association will be accepted.
  • The Arboretum's AppleHouse – Open Now through Dec. 20 | 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily
    • The Arboretum's AppleHouse is a seasonal destination, featuring Minnesota-grown apples, including varieties grown at the Arboretum’s Horticultural Research Center nearby. Many of the University of Minnesota’s introduced apple varieties are for sale at the AppleHouse, along with gourmet packaged foods, frozen apple pies, pastries, packaged gourmet goodies, gifts and — in the fall — pumpkins, squash and gourds also grown at the Arboretum. Tuesday-Sunday visitors can also enjoy fresh donuts, coffee and cider from North Star Donuts open through Oct. 31. Beginning on November 6th, the Apple House will be transformed into a Holiday Boutique.  We will still offer a variety of fresh apples and gourmet foods items along with a wide range of gift giving items and holiday decor.

    • The Minnesota Renaissance Festival is celebrating its 54th Season! Come and be a part of this long-standing tradition by visiting the festival grounds in Shakopee, MN
