- Minneapolis Sculpture Garden Art Fair – Saturday, May 11th and Sunday, May 12th
- For the first time ever, the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden will be home to an art fair, Mother's Day weekend in 2024. The event is owned and operated by Homespun Events, the team behind the Minnehaha Falls Art Fair, which was voted by artists in the Sunshine Artist Magazine as the 49th Best Art Fair in the United States and 2nd Best Art Fair in Minnesota! The event will feature approximately 150 artist booths, along with music, crafts, food, and more. Details will be announced here as they are available.
- Mother’s Day Plant Sale – May 10th – 11th
- Mother’s Day is the traditional day when Minnesotan’s can put plants in the ground without fear of frost. For moms who love to garden, a visit to the Landscape Arboretum’s Plant Sale would be a marvelous outing. FREE, but you need a reservation. Click the link above for more info.
- MaiFest at Excelsior Brewery – May 10th – 12th
- Excelsior Brewing Company is back with their spring MaiFest celebration with live music all weekend, face painting, German food, and a liter holding & toss the brat competitions. This is a fun way to get out and experience historic downtown Excelsior.
