Events
- New Year's Eve Party at Winter Lights – Saturday, December 30th
- Bring family and friends together to celebrate the end of 2023 with a magical walk through the Arboretum’s Winter Lights display, family-friendly games and live music from Traveled Ground. Take your picture in a photo booth, add your hopes and dreams to the New Year Wish Tree and make a craft to bring home. Enjoy countdown celebrations on the hour at 5, 6 and 7 p.m. and again at 8, 9 and 10 p.m. Tickets still available in the link above.
- British Arrows Awards at the Walker – Show ends on December 31st
- With brilliant creativity, wry wit, and emotional twists and turns, the British Arrows Awards is a perennially entertaining Walker holiday tradition. Celebrating the latest creative trends in moving image advertising, this year’s program finds Daniel Craig sashaying through a swanky Parisian hotel, Miley Cyrus crowd-surfing at a Gucci party, and Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) and John Boyega (Star Wars) doing awkward improv. Run time: 74 minutes. Tickets start at $18.
- The Winery at Sovereign Estate: Sprit of Winter – now through December 30th
- During this family friendly event, the Estate is transformed into a majestic, illuminated winter wonderland, with over twenty miles of musical, synchronized lights strung over 20 acres of their lakeside vineyard. Guests can stroll the grounds and enjoy a variety of attractions like Candy Cane Lane, life size Nativity scene, photo opportunity at Santa’s Sleigh, real winter llamas, inflatable Snowman Social, children’s Snow Maze, kid’s Boot Hockey Arena, and Nana’s Gingerbread House! Once you arrive, guests also have the opportunity to purchase Holly Trolley rides for $5 per person in our Wine Store for a special guided tour of the decorated grounds.
- Holidays on the Hill at the James J. Hill House – Through December 31st
- Experience Christmas in 1910—both upstairs and downstairs—in the sumptuous Gilded Age mansion of railroad titan James J. Hill. Admission includes self-guided access to holiday-themed exhibits and a 60-minute guided tour highlighting holiday stories and memories from both the Hill family and their staff.
